            Baseball Recap: James F. Byrnes Rebels vs. Dorman Cavaliers        
        
		
        
        
            James F. Byrnes was the  2-1 winner over Dorman when they last played one another  last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Rebels fell  6-2 to the Cavaliers on Wednesday. Rebels fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Cavaliers since  on Wednesday.
 Hayden Lister was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   two  hits. That's the fewest  earned runs  he has allowed since back in February.
 On the hitting side,  Harrison Keels was cooking despite his team's loss,   going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Connor Crenshaw, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base.
James F. Byrnes' loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Dorman, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road.
While James F. Byrnes had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.
