Football Recap: Nicholas Tramble 11's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Benjamin Davis over Strake Jesuit

Benjamin Davis lost against Strake Jesuit back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons took a hard 35-21 fall against the Fighting Crusaders.

Benjamin Davis lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Nicholas Tramble 11, who rushed for 89 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries.

John Hebert was nothing short of spectacular for Strake Jesuit: he rushed for 237 yards and four TDs. Hebert's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 15th straight game with at least 118 rushing yards dating back to last season. Strake Jesuit also got a significant boost from Grayson Ochoa, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 84 yards.

Benjamin Davis' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Strake Jesuit, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Benjamin Davis has already played their next match, a 31-22 victory against Cypress Lakes on the 13th. As for Strake Jesuit, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 30-28 defeat against Lake Creek on the 12th.
