Basketball Game Preview: Oxford Chargers vs. Shannon Red Raiders

The Oxford Chargers will head out to face off against the Shannon Red Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Oxford is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Oxford was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 66-62 to Southaven.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Shannon's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Ripley by a score of 55-53.

Shannon now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Oxford, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.
