Basketball Recap: Huntland Takes a Loss

Huntland was the 57-34 winner over Collinwood when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Huntland Hornets lost to the Collinwood Trojans on the road by a 58-41 margin on Saturday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Huntland's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Collinwood, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Looking ahead, Huntland will challenge Moore County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Collinwood, they will take on Loretto at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Loretto will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Collinwood surely won't give up without a fight.
