Football Game Preview: Broadwater Academy Vikings vs. Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets

The Broadwater Academy Vikings will take on the Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Broadwater Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Virginia's top teams: Fuqua, who was ranked seventh at the time (Broadwater Academy was ranked fourth). The Vikings enjoyed a cozy 30-13 win over the Falcons on Friday. That looming 30-13 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Vikings yet this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Randolph-Macon Academy). They blew past Massanutten Military Academy 54-6 on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Yellow Jackets in their matchups with the Colonels: they've now won nine in a row.

Randolph-Macon Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Chester Notewo and Akhil Patnala. Notewo got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
