Basketball Game Preview: Chattahoochee Cougars vs. Seckinger Jaguars

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Chattahoochee Cougars take on the Seckinger Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday... Chattahoochee will be strutting in after a victory while Seckinger will be coming in after a defeat.

Chattahoochee took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They managed a 37-31 win over Gainesville.

Chattahoochee found their leader in sophomore Brooklinne Dorr, who posted 12 points along with six rebounds and five steals. That's the most steals Dorr has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Grace Harris, who had four points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Seckinger took a blow against Banks County on Monday, falling 67-30. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 378th, while the Leopards are ranked 72nd).

Seckinger's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Chattahoochee, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.

Chattahoochee beat Seckinger 31-21 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Will Chattahoochee repeat their success, or does Seckinger have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
