Basketball Recap: Arkansas City Takes a Loss

Arkansas City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Hutchinson Salthawks and fell 68-35. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 65-35 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Arkansas City's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hutchinson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

After both having extra time off, Arkansas City and Clearwater will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Arkansas City is facing Clearwater at the right time seeing as Clearwater is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Hutchinson, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Maize South at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
