Brennan Goode Game Report: vs Dixie

Ware Shoals had to settle for second on Thursday, but Brennan Goode sure wasn't going down easily. Goode struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off 11 hits (and not a single walk). The performance also marked the fewest walks (zero) he has had since back in March.

Goode and Ware Shoals will venture away from home to take on GREEN Upstate at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Goode's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Hornets' nine-game streak of wins at home.
