After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Adna, Raymond/South Bend was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Ilwaco Fishermen by a score of 7-4. The Ravens haven't had any issues with the Fishermen recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Summer Stigall was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one hit any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Emma Glazier was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Those stolen bases marked the first that she snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Ava Pine, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Raymond/South Bend's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Ilwaco, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Raymond/South Bend beat the Fishermen by a score of 20-6 later that day.
