Basketball Game Preview: Coppell Cowboys vs. Houston Christian Mustangs

Having just played yesterday, the Coppell Cowboys will jump right back in to play the Houston Christian Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Houston Christian will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Coppell extended their winning streak to six on Friday. The Cowboys simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Leadership Prep 77-48. While the Cowboys didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Houston Christian got the win against Vista Ridge on Friday by a conclusive 56-34. Those 56 points were actually the fewest the Mustangs have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Coppell's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Houston Christian, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.
