Beaver gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They skirted past the Milford Tigers 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Beavers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Beaver was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-23, 16-25, 22-25, 25-18, 15-10.

Lexi Hafen paced Beaver's offense, picking up nine kills. Hafen got some help from Ainsley Brown and her 20 assists. Brown also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Leila Alisa, racking up three apiece.

Beaver will face off against Gunnison Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Milford, they have already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Tintic on the 8th.
