Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crystal City). They really took it to the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws for the full four quarters, racking up an 87-53 win. The Javelinas have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Leading Crystal City to victory were Christopher Mena and Jayden Rousseau. Mena dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten boards, while Rousseau went 9 for 14 en route to 21 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Mena's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Jordan Urrabazo was another key player, going 6 of 12 on his way to 15 points.

Crystal City smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Crystal City has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Jourdanton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-9.
