Volleyball Recap: Western Harnett Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Western Harnett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the West Johnston Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-13, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Landis Williams, who had 16 digs and three assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Western Harnett's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for West Johnston, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Western Harnett is taking a road trip to face off against Union Pines at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Johnston, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against North Johnston at 5:30 p.m.
