Football Game Preview: Roosevelt Roughriders vs. Ottumwa Bulldogs

The Roosevelt Roughriders will challenge the Ottumwa Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Roosevelt's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Lincoln on Friday. They took a blow against the Lynx, falling 38-0. The Roughriders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Ottumwa entered their contest against Norwalk on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bulldogs came up short against the Warriors, falling 38-13.

Ottumwa now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Roosevelt, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Roosevelt suffered a grim 50-28 defeat to Ottumwa when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Roughriders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
