Softball Recap: Naperville North Takes a Loss

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Naperville North was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They fell just short of the Oswego East Wolves by a score of 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Naperville North saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sara Rossi, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases.

Naperville North's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Oswego East, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Naperville North will venture away from home to face off against Naperville Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Huskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Redhawks have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Oswego East, they will challenge Plainfield South at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
