Matoaca won against Warhill last Friday with 35 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Matoaca Warriors breezed by the Henrico Warriors on the road to the tune of 35-0. Given Matoaca's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 11th, while Henrico is ranked 134th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Matoaca was led to victory by Bryce Yates and Trevion Mills. Yates threw for 183 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes, while Mills rushed for 165 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.
