Basketball Recap: Benton Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Benton can now relate to. They took a blow against the North Penn-Liberty Mountie on Tuesday, falling 68-31. The Tigers have struggled against the Mountie recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Benton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for North Penn-Liberty, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Benton nor North Penn-Liberty have any future games scheduled.
