Basketball Recap: Cresskill Comes Up Short

Cresskill suffered their closest defeat since February 3, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Park Ridge Owls by a score of 44-42. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Cougars came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Owls are ranked 233rd).

Cresskill has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Park Ridge, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Cresskill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-59 loss against Midland Park on the 23rd. Park Ridge has also already played their next game (against Emerson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
