Football Recap: Fort Frye Comes Up Short on the Road Against Barnesville

Fort Frye kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 35-7 loss at the hands of the Barnesville Shamrocks. If the Cadets were looking for revenge after losing 51-16 to the Shamrocks when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Grady Hesson threw for 35 yards on four of ten attempts. Gavin Rauch was his top target, picking up 28 receiving yards. On the ground, Sam Bricker rushed for 50 yards.

Fort Frye is taking a road trip to face off against West Muskingum at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Barnesville, they will host Meadowbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
