Basketball Recap: Midfield Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Jefferson Christian Academy on Thursday, Midfield came back down to earth. The Patriots fell 53-42 to the Fairfield Tigers on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Midfield lost, don't look at Aaron Adams-Martin. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-15 on his way to 22 points. Another player making a difference was Jashawn Moore, who posted six points and eight boards.

Midfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coincidentally, Midfield and Fairfield will both be playing Gadsden City the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Patriots will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on the 21st.
