Baseball Recap: West Shore Christian Academy Takes a Loss

West Shore Christian Academy and Conestoga Christian squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but West Shore Christian Academy had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 7-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Conestoga Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in April.

Memphis Barron was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Jaden Locker was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

West Shore Christian Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Conestoga Christian, they pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither West Shore Christian Academy nor Conestoga Christian have any future games scheduled.
