Basketball Recap: HomeSchool Resource Center Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bluegrass, HomeSchool Resource Center was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K Knights, sneaking past 64-62. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Patriots have posted since February 22nd.

Noel Green was nothing short of spectacular: he dropped a double-double with 20 points and 16 boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 18 games he's played dating back to last season. Elias Moore was another key player, putting up 13 points.

St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jonah Anderson, who shot 62% from the field to rack up 16 points and eight rebounds, and Dylan Key, who went 6-for-11 en route to 16 points and five assists. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Duncan, who posted seven points.

The win got HomeSchool Resource Center back to even at 1-1. As for St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

HomeSchool Resource Center wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-56 loss against Hudsonville H on the 7th. As for St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-58 victory against Little Rock HomeSchool on the 8th.
