Softball Recap: El Toro Wins Going Away Against Hart

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Santa Margarita, El Toro was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Hart Hawks a 10-0 shutout. The matchup marked the Chargers' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Camyrn Bradshaw was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ellie Mattocks, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

El Toro was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .450. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

El Toro's record now sits at 4-6. As for Hart, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

El Toro has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Peninsula on the 22nd. As for Hart, they will venture away from home to take on Saugus at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
