Liberty entered their tilt with Palo Verde Valley on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 57-50 victory over the Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets. Given the Bison's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 261st, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 989th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Palo Verde Valley lost, don't look at Zaraivion Crowe. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 35 points and 16 rebounds. The matchup was Crowe's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Daymien Jauregui, who posted ten points and three steals.
