Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Forest Hill's Fifth in Last Six Outings

While Forest Hill didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Leonard Lancers on Thursday. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Lancers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Forest Hill had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 26-24, 25-20, 25-16.

Forest Hill is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The defeat snapped Leonard's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Forest Hill and Leonard will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time Forest Hill sees the court they'll take on Palm Beach Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on April 1. As for Leonard, their break will end when they face Suncoast at 7:00 p.m. on April 2.
