Soccer Game Preview: Houston vs. Kodiak

For the second straight game, Houston will face off against Kodiak. The Hawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Houston is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Kodiak, who was ranked 22nd at the time (Houston was ranked 19th). The Hawks' defense stepped up to hand the Bears a 5-0 shutout on Thursday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Houston's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Kodiak's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Houston, their win bumped their record up to 3-7-3.
