Softball Recap: Lincolnwood Takes a Loss

Lincolnwood managed to slip by Pana the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Lincolnwood came up short against Pana on Monday, falling 11-2. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Lancers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Lincolnwood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Pana, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Lincolnwood will face off against Greenville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenville will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lincolnwood surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pana, they will head out on the road to face off against Auburn at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Auburn's pitching crew has only allowed one run per game this season, so Pana's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
