Softball Game Preview: Lynden Christian Lyncs vs. Bellingham Bayhawks

The Lynden Christian Lyncs are taking a road trip to face off against the Bellingham Bayhawks at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lynden Christian is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Mount Vernon on Tuesday. They lost 11-1 to the Bulldogs. The Lyncs have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Bellingham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Sedro-Woolley, falling 19-0.

Lynden Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Bellingham, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Lynden Christian took their win against Bellingham in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 17-0 score. Do the Lyncs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bayhawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
