Baseball Recap: IMG Academy White Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against St. Petersburg Catholic last Thursday, IMG Academy White came back down to earth. The Ascenders lost 14-4 to the Southeastern Prep Academy National Falcons on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Ascenders have suffered since March 18th.

Owen Armstead made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Sam Murgo, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

IMG Academy White's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-13. As for Southeastern Prep Academy National, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

IMG Academy White does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southeastern Prep Academy National, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on MVP Baseball Academy at 1:30 p.m. on the 29th.
