Volleyball Recap: Catholic Central Comes Up Short

Catholic Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Shawnee Braves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Irish of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Catholic Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Shawnee, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Catholic Central will square off against Greeneview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shawnee, they will be playing at home against Urbana at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
