Soccer Recap: San Elizario Comes Up Short

San Elizario fell victim to Del Valle and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 5-0 to the Del Valle Conquistadores. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Conquistadores are ranked 40th).

Having lost for the first time this season, San Elizario fell to 0-1-2. As for Del Valle, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-0-2.

San Elizario wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Eastwood on the 10th. As for Del Valle, they will venture away from home to face off against Pebble Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pebble Hills will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Del Valle surely won't give up without a fight.
