Soccer Recap: Troy Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Troy kept a clean sheet against Anchor Bay on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Tars by a score of 2-0. Given Troy's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked fifth, while Anchor Bay are ranked 53rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Troy and bumps their season record up to 4-0-1. As for Anchor Bay, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-4-1.

Coming up, Troy will host Royal Oak at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Anchor Bay, they will challenge Port Huron Northern at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
