Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Pinedale's Fourth in Last Five Outings

The Pinedale Wranglers beat the Glenrock Herders 2-0 on Saturday.

Lyxi White paced Pinedale's offense, picking up eight kills. White got some help from Erin Murphy and her 13 assists. Finally, Roxanne Melinkovich kept Pinedale's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Pinedale has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6-1 record this season. As for Glenrock, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Pinedale has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mountain View on the 13th. As for Glenrock, they will square off against Douglas at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give the Herders their first taste of in-conference action this season.
