Davenport is a perfect 5-0 against Celebration since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Davenport Broncos will take on the Celebration Storm at 6:00 p.m.

Davenport fell victim to Horizon and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 15-0 to the Hawks.

Madison Bergeron made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in both of her plate appearances with three stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Celebration posted their biggest victory since April 12, 2024 on Tuesday. They blew past First Academy 24-14. The high-scoring effort was just what the Storm needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

Mariah Isabel was incredible, getting on base in five of her six plate appearances with two triples, three runs, and four RBI. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits (three). Another player making a difference was Valeria Castellano, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-5.

Davenport's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Celebration, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Everything went Davenport's way against Celebration in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Davenport made off with a 17-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Davenport since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
