Meanwhile, Bassick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 26-1 to Weston.

Joel Barlow's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bassick, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Joel Barlow took their victory against Bassick in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
