Baseball Recap: Bronx High School of Science Gets the Win

Bronx High School of Science's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Manhattan Center for Science & Math Rams. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Johnathan Stern, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Bronx High School of Science's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3-1. As for Manhattan Center for Science & Math, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bronx High School of Science will challenge Morris at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolverines are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Manhattan Center for Science & Math, they will head out on the road to take on Monroe Campus at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
