Softball Recap: Groton Comes Up Short

Groton fell victim to Marathon and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Olympians, falling 12-0. The Red Hawks just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Groton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Marathon, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Groton will challenge Newfield at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Marathon, they will face off against Moravia at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
