Yuma and Haxtun are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2016, but not for long. The Outlaws will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Fightin' Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Yuma will be strutting in after a victory while Haxtun will be coming in after a defeat.

Yuma barely beat Burlington the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Outlaws blew past the Cougars 3-0 on Thursday. The matchup marked the Outlaws' most dominant win of the season.

Yuma not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Burlington between 15 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Haxtun came up short against Weldon Valley on Saturday and fell 3-1. The Fightin' Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Haxtun ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 20-25, 25-21.

Haxtun's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Yuma, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.
