Volleyball Recap: Xenia Takes a Loss

Xenia managed to slip by Greenville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Buccaneers came up short against the Green Wave on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Buccaneers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Xenia was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Greenville work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 26-24, 25-20.

Among those leading the charge was Lily Brubaker, who had 12 digs and two assists. Megan Loudy also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Xenia's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Greenville, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Xenia will welcome Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenville, they will be playing at home against Stebbins at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
