Softball Recap: Elgin Takes a Loss

Elgin saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mechanicsburg Indians. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elgin saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emilie Bishop, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Elgin's record now sits at 7-13. As for Mechanicsburg, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-10 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elgin will take on Hardin Northern at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mechanicsburg, they will face off against Southeastern Local at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
