Neoga is 2-8 against Altamont since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. Neoga is taking a road trip to face off against Altamont at 4:30 p.m. Neoga is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

Neoga is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Cumberland on Wednesday. They fell 6-1 to the Pirates.

Hannah Propst spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on 11 hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Neoga saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josalyn Brandenburg, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Altamont beat Vandalia 7-2 on Thursday. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Vandals recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Neoga now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Altamont, their win bumped their record up to 5-13.

Neoga came up short against Altamont in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, falling 3-0. Can Neoga avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
