Volleyball Recap: River Falls' Undefeated Season over After 13 Games

After flying high against Menomonie on Thursday, River Falls came back down to earth. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chanhassen Storm on Friday. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Amelie Pankonin paced River Falls' offense, picking up eight kills. Pankonin got some help from Anika Schwartz and her 11 assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, River Falls fell to 12-1. As for Chanhassen, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Falls will head out to challenge Woodbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chanhassen, they will venture away from home to face off against Providence Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
