Union Mine was handed a ten-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Galt Warriors 2-1. The Diamondbacks haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Union Mine's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Isabella McMurray, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Jillian Niles was another, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.
