It's playoff time, and Paint Branch had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Wheaton Knights by a score of 58-49 on Friday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Panthers' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Paint Branch moved to 9-16 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 1.33 points. As for Wheaton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.
