After a string of six wins, Dalton's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 45-44 to the Cherokee Warriors.

Dalton's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Cherokee, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-5 record.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Butler the next time they take the court. Dalton will head out to face Butler at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, while Cherokee will head out to face them at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
