Volleyball Recap: Dorman Takes Down Ranked Oceanside Collegiate Academy

Dorman faced Oceanside Collegiate Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Cavaliers came out on top against the Landsharks by a score of 2-0.

The victory didn't come easy: Oceanside Collegiate Academy scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19.

Dorman can attribute much of their success to Kenzie Hang, who had 11 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Hang has posted over her last eight contests.

Dorman has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, their defeat ended a six-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 15-3.

Coming up, Dorman will stay at home for another game and welcome North Myrtle Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cardinal Newman at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
