Volleyball Recap: Kiowa Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Deer Trail last Friday, Kiowa came back down to earth. The Indians lost 3-0 to the Prairie Mustangs on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Indians have suffered since September 27th.

While Kiowa was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12, 25-22.

Despite the defeat, Kiowa saw an underclassman step up: freshman Emery Kelly had 11 digs. Terra McMillan also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Kiowa's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Prairie, their record is now 17-6.

Kiowa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Strasburg on the 1st. Prairie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
