Volleyball Game Preview: Kathleen Red Devils vs. Lakeland Dreadnaughts

The Kathleen Red Devils will head out to square off against the Lakeland Dreadnaughts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kathleen is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, Kathleen came up short against Discovery and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lakeland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on Roosevelt Academy with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lakeland took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-9, 25-15.

Kathleen better keep an eye on Trey Jones. He was instrumental in Lakeland's win, getting six kills and six aces.

Lakeland was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 25 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Kathleen's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lakeland, their record is now 5-9.

Kathleen might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Lakeland in their previous matchup last Tuesday. Can the Red Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
