Softball Recap: Era Comes Up Short

Era fell victim to Lindsay and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 18-0 to the Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-5 back in March.

Era dropped their record down to 3-17 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Lindsay, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Era will venture away from home to challenge Alvord at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lindsay, they will head out on the road to face off against Muenster at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
