Baseball Recap: Strafford Comes Up Short

Strafford was the 17-2 winner over Gainesville when they last played one another back in May of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs on Thursday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Strafford's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Gainesville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

Strafford didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-4 defeat against Marshfield on the 24th. As for Gainesville, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Mansfield at 4:30 p.m.
